    I really wish this place was better. I like the dining room space and the outdoor area is great for those with kids. But the food yesterday was abysmal. The garlic prawns were small, tasted like they were precooked 4 times and had a packet sauce put on top, and the parma was barely edible - dry chicken, possibly leggo's tomato paste (yes paste, not even dolmio type sauce) and tasteless cheese. The staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. We will be back, but only due to lack of other options locally.

    A truly pleasant surprise. Firstly, the photos don't lie - it is charming, neat and tidy. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Food is good. Rooms are clean, not musty, and mattresses are comfy, not saggy.

    Great location to stay for the Bull & Barrel Festival.

    Lovely ambience and good food. My favourite place to eat out when family and friends come to visit. Just one little whinge, need some playground equipment for the children.
